COPS THAT KILL DESERVE THE DEATH PENALTY

This government must execute killer cops to send the message that police brutality will not be tolerated.

In Cincinnati, the police used excessive force in subduing an unarmed 350-pound man, who later died. The police chief will give his probably perverted/ opinion of whether or not the incident consisted of excessive force on when their investigation/coverup is completed.

See fox news for a report only slightly biased in favor of the police. The link for the video of the tragic beating is given. Sure, the black man was violent, but the methods to subdue him were ultra-incompetent. Any police chief that determines that the force used was proper deserves the death penalty as well as any police school that trained these thug-cops.

Published on September 2, 2003
Author(s):    John Ellement, Globe Staff

PLYMOUTH - In the first use of deadly force by a Plymouth officer in at least 27 years, a 35-year-old man with a history of mental illness was shot and killed late Sunday night when he kept challenging four officers with a hunting knife, authorities said yesterday.

EDITORIAL COMMENT FROM MASSBRUTALITY.ORG:
Glidden was shot by the police three times. Hearsay is that Glidden brandished a knife and moved towards the police saying "shoot me". [This editor said something like that once. I said "arrest me".
The cops - acting as if following a hypnotic suggestion - did arrest me and falsely charged me with Assault and Battery.] The police did shoot Mr. Glidden They shot not once, but three times. I wonder if the police aren't operating as if in a hypnotic trance. If they are in a trance-like state, who did that to them? Do you suppose the police training is suspect?

The crappy excuse given for the shooting by the police department is that the shooting was justified because the officer fired to protect himself and others. However, how can a cop be afraid of a man who has been shot twice in the chest already?. Could this police officer not back away from a mortally wounded man? This act is a Cowardly disgrace. I ask that God Damn to Hell Each and Every person that does not renounce this act of police brutality and do something to help put an end to the National scourge of lethal police brutality.
TRAINING NEEDED ON MENTALLY ILL
Published on September 4, 2003

THE TRAGIC SHOOTING OF JAMES GLIDDEN IN PLYMOUTH UNDERSCORES THE NEED FOR ONGOING POLICE TRAINING THROUGHOUT MASSACHUSETTS (``PLYMOUTH MAN SHOT BY POLICE,'' PAGE B1, SEPT. 2). TRAINING LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES ON HOW TO RECOGNIZE AND DEAL WITH MENTAL ILLNESS IS COST-EFFECTIVE, HUMANE, AND INCREASES SAFETY FOR POLICE, THE COMMUNITY, AND INDIVIDUALS LIKE MR. GLIDDEN.
Senator Cynthia Creem of Newton has filed legislation that would establish guidelines for developing police training

EDITORIAL COMMENT FROM MASSBRUTALITY.ORG:

God Bless Cynthis Creem. The police schools do need guidelines for police training. In fact, I've been saying for years that the police schools need a drastic overhaul.
